UN: 540 thousand people have left Lebanon since start of Israeli war

BEIRUT, Nov. 20 (YPA) – UN data shows that at least 540,000 refugees left Lebanon after the Israeli war began in September, with 37% of those leaving being Lebanese and 63% being Syrians.

The UN report also indicated that 34,992 Lebanese had arrived in Iraq.

The UN Children’s Fund confirmed the killing of over 200 Lebanese children since the Israeli escalation. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported 3,544 Lebanese deaths and 15,036 wounded since the war began.
