GAZA, Nov. 17 (YPA) -At least eight Palestinians were killed early this morning in Israeli airstrikes that targeted the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Among the victims were a child and several others injured in the attacks.
According to local sources, the Israeli occupation military launched a series of airstrikes on residential buildings in the camp. One of the airstrikes hit a home belonging to the Aqel family, resulting in the murder of seven individuals, including a child.
These victims, along with others wounded in the attacks, were transferred by Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances to al-Awda Hospital in the nearby Nuseirat refugee camp and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces targeted a home belonging to the Al-Maqadmah family in al-Bureij, killing a woman and injuring at least nine others. The injured individuals were also rushed to al-Awda Hospital for medical treatment.
The Israeli occupation artillery targeted the northwestern areas of Gaza City, causing widespread damage.
