SANAA, Nov. 03 (YPA) – Sanaa forces on Sunday confirmed the success of their military operations in preventing all Israeli ships and warships from being present in the Red Sea.
Commenting on what is being circulated in the media about Israeli warships crossing through Bab al-Mandab, the Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department, Brigadier General Abdullah Amer, denied the truth of these recent allegations, confirming that the Red Sea is free of Israeli warships.
Brigadier General Bin Amer said in his post on the “X” platform, “No Israeli warship has passed from the south of the Red Sea since the start of the Yemeni operations.”
This comes in light of the Sanaa forces imposing an almost complete naval blockade on Israeli shipping in support of Gaza.
Brigadier General Amer’s clarification came in the wake of Egyptian media allegations that had promoted the passage of an Israeli warship from the Red Sea in an attempt to cover up the scandal of the port of Alexandria receiving an Israeli warship and new Israeli arms shipments.
