OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Nov. 03 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces acknowledged today, Sunday, the death of a soldier due to the explosion of a hand grenade in northern Gaza Strip on Saturday.
They also admitted that two soldiers from the Givati Brigade were killed in battles in northern Gaza on Saturday evening.
Under the “permit for publication” clause, the occupation forces reported in October that 19 Israeli soldiers had been killed during the clashes in Gaza, while 33 others were killed in southern Lebanon.
With these recent fatalities, the total number of Israeli casualties in the “ground operation” in Gaza and in battles along the border with the strip has risen to 371 soldiers, according to Israeli media.
However, the actual losses are believed to be higher, but the media and military censorship are withholding the true figures, only allowing a small portion of those losses to be published.
