Yemen army attacks coalition-backed militias in western coast

HODEIDAH, July 19 (YPA)- The Yemeni army on Thursday launched an offensive on the positions of the Saudi-backed militias in Yemen’s Red Sea Port City of Hodeidah, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official confirmed that dozens of the militias were killed and injured in al-Jabelah area south of the Tuhaiyta district in the western coast.

The militias suffered heavy losses in life and gear during the confrontations, the official said.

The army destroyed three military vehicles belonging to the militias in the same district, the official added.
