Hamas: Zionist enemy has turned Gaza hospitals into war zones

GAZA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, said on Thursday that “the Zionist enemy army has turned hospitals in the Gaza Strip into battlefields in which it practices the most heinous and brutal acts of genocide.”

Hamas stated in a press statement, “The fascist occupation army is expanding its brutal crimes against our people in the northern Gaza Strip and is imposing a siege on the Martyr Kamal Adwan Hospital in the Beit Lahia project.”

It added that the Israeli occupation army targeted the hospital, including the wounded, patients, medical staff, and hundreds of displaced families, with heavy gunfire and artillery shelling.

The statement affirmed that the siege and bombing of hospitals is a complete war crime and a violation of all laws and regulations, which the fascist occupation government is committing in view of the world.

Hamas stressed that the international community, the United Nations, and its institutions, headed by the UN Security Council, are obligated to take urgent action to compel the terrorist occupation to stop its crimes against defenseless civilians, especially in the northern Gaza Strip.
