Harris: “Israel” is committing genocide in Gaza

WISCONSIN, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The US Vice President and democratic candidate for the presidency of the United States, Kamala Harris, admitted for the first time that the Israeli occupation forces are committing genocide against the people in their ongoing aggression for more than a year against the Gaza Strip.

Harris said during a campaign meeting with University of Wisconsin students this week, “I invest in you and do my best for all of you in every way.”

Meanwhile, one of the students, who appeared to be a supporter of the Palestinians and wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh on his shoulders, interrupted her and shouted from the audience, “And genocide, right?” “You are investing billions of dollars in genocide.”

Harris responded to the young man: “I am speaking now. I know what you are talking about. I want a ceasefire.” “I want this war to end, and I also respect your right to speak—but I’m speaking now.”

The protesting student continued to shout from afar: “But what about genocide? But what about genocide? He continued to ask as the guards took him out of the hall, saying, “19 thousand children died, and you do not describe this as genocide?”

After the young protester was removed from the hall, Harris addressed the audience in the hall and said, “This is real. What this student is talking about is real. It is not the issue I came to discuss today, but it is real, and I respect his voice.”

The Israeli occupation forces have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip, by land, sea, and air, since October 7, 2023, resulting in the killing of 42,519 citizens and the injuring of 99,637 others, the majority of whom are children and women—an infinite toll, as thousands of missing persons are still under the rubble.
