Hamas: Israeli occupation practices misleading media regarding aid to northern Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 19 (YPA) – The Hamas movement has confirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to spread false and baseless media reports about aid’s entry into the northern Gaza Strip, creating the illusion that aid will reach all areas of the Strip.

The movement said on Saturday in a press statement, “The truth is that very little and limited aid enters the Gaza City area only, which is also a disaster-stricken area and in need of aid.”

It stressed again that no aid has entered North Gaza Governorate for more than two weeks, especially Jabalia al-Balad and the camp and the population centers around them.

Hamas called on journalists in Arab and international media outlets to expose this Israeli media deception and its false propaganda about the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip.

Since last September 30, no trucks carrying food, water, or medicine have entered the northern Gaza Strip, according to the United Nations and the website of the Israeli military agency that supervises humanitarian aid crossings.

The northern Gaza Strip and the Jabalia camp in particular are suffering, for the fifteenth day in a row, under an Israeli siege and starvation amid violent air and artillery bombardment.
