Pakistan establishes relief fund for victims of Lebanon, Gaza

ISLAMABAD, Oct. 19 (YPA) – The Pakistani government announced the establishment of a relief fund to support the defenseless Palestinians and Lebanese affected by the Israeli attacks.

The government appealed to citizens, especially the wealthy among them, to donate generously to this fund.

Radio Pakistan reported on Friday that Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that with the approach of the winter season, his country intends to send more tents and blankets to those affected by the Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, in addition to shipments of food and medicine.

The Pakistani Prime Minister instructed Pakistani diplomats in countries neighboring Palestine and Lebanon to work to ensure that aid shipments are delivered to the needy as soon as possible.
