AMMAN, Oct. 18 (YPA) – Massive popular demonstrations took place on Friday in Jordan’s capital, Amman, denouncing the assassination of the leader of the resistance movement “Hamas,” Yahya Sinwar, and Palestinian leaders.
Demonstrators denounced the Israeli massacres in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, and praised the infiltration of two Jordanian youths south of the Dead Sea and their shooting at Israeli soldiers.
They considered what the two young men did as confirmation that the Palestinian cause is the cause of the two peoples (Jordanian and Palestinian) and affirmed the rejection of the Israeli presence in Palestine.
“We pledge allegiance to you, Sinwar,” chanted demonstrators in the Jordanian capital, Amman, denouncing the ongoing Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
The demonstrators also chanted slogans demanding the opening of the borders with the occupied territories.
Earlier today, two Israeli soldiers were wounded by gunfire from gunmen who infiltrated from Jordan south of the Dead Sea, while the Israeli occupation army announced the neutralization of two of them and the search for a third possible gunman.
On Thursday evening, October 17, 2024, the Israeli occupation army announced the assassination of Sinwar after a full year of pursuing him.
