Iran’s Foreign Minister meet with Egyptian counterpart in Cairo

CAIRO, Oct. 17 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, met with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Aati in Cairo on Thursday to discuss the most important regional issues and developments.

In the meeting, the two sides discussed the efforts made to stop the Israeli aggression and its crimes in Gaza and Lebanon.

This visit came within the framework of his regional consultations on the latest developments in the region after Araghchi had toured Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, the Sultanate of Oman and Jordan.

Cairo is the eighth stop on the Iranian Foreign Minister’s regional tour as part of Iranian diplomatic efforts to stop the war in Gaza and Lebanon.
