GENEVA, Oct. 16 (YPA) – Parliamentarians, including Turkish representatives, left the hall after giving the floor to a Zionist official during the work of the 149th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which is held in the Swiss city of Geneva.
The Parliamentarians expressed their protest against the Israeli entity by knocking on the tables and leaving the hall after the president of the union, Tulia Aksson, granted the floor to an Israeli official during a session on Tuesday to discuss the union’s emergency proposals.
Some representatives chanted “Free Palestine” as they left the hall and returned after the Zionist official’s speech ended.
