President Al-Mashat affirms continuation of Yemen’s liberation battle, calls on Saudi regime to end aggression, siege

SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – President of the Yemeni Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, affirmed on Sunday that the Yemeni government and people will continue the struggle for liberation and independence until all invaders are expelled from the entire country.

In a speech this evening marking the 61st anniversary of the October 14 Revolution, President al-Mashat called on those who have betrayed the revolution’s principles and aligned themselves with the occupiers to reconsider their stance.

He warned that if they continue to betray their country for the benefit of a foreign enemy, they will face lasting shame and disgrace.

President Mahdi Al-Mashat congratulated the Yemeni people, Sayyed Abdulmalik on the 61st anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution.

He noted that this anniversary serves as a reminder of the greatness and bravery of the Yemeni people, who faced the largest empire of that time under the harshest conditions, creating lessons of dignity, courage, and freedom until the occupiers were driven out from their land permanently.

President al-Mashat highlighted that through the October 14 Revolution, Yemenis created a significant national legacy, asserting that their people have become a model for expelling invaders and dismantling colonial empires.

He stated that Yemen has historically been, and will continue to be a graveyard for invaders throughout history.

He called on the Saudi regime to end the aggression, lift the blockade completely and fulfill the humanitarian obligations.

Addressing the Saudi regime, President al-Mashat stated, “Prolonging the aggression does not benefit the region or promote peace; rather, it serves American interests.”

He reiterated Yemen’s full support for Lebanon, its people in their battle for self-defense and  Gaza as well until victory is achieved and the aggression and siege on Gaza are ended.

Al-Mashat reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast, principled, growing position in supporting, backing the Palestinian people in their battle for liberation from the Israeli occupation.

He condemned the ongoing American-Zionist aggression against Lebanon, the brutal crimes committed against the Lebanese people.
