Sudan files complaint against UAE to Security Council

KHARTOUM, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Sudanese authorities have filed a complaint with the UN Security Council regarding the UAE’s recruitment of mercenaries to fight in Sudan and ignite civil war.

The Sudanese authorities provided the Security Council with new details about UAE aggression against the state and people through terrorist militias, supporting a previous complaint they filed against the UAE last March.

The letter highlighted the UAE treating militia fighters injured in battles at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, and included photos of heavy artillery ammunition boxes bearing the name of the UAE, which the Sudanese army seized after the “Jebel Moya” battles.

The letter also mentioned newly manufactured Emirati medicines and medical supplies in the possession of the Rapid Support Forces, which can be examined by UN experts.

The letter stated that the UAE is actively recruiting mercenaries from various countries to fight alongside the militia in Sudan, and that with this behavior, the UAE is no longer an indirect supporter of “the Rapid Support Forces” but has become a key partner on the front line of the war of aggression against Sudan and its armed forces.
