The master of the vessel reported being hit by three projectiles and the vessel has sustained damage but no fires or casualties were reported, UKMTO said in a statement.
The crew are reported safe and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call, the statement added.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have begun targeting Israeli ships and ships heading to or from occupied Palestine across the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, and even the Mediterranean, employing missiles and drones.
The operations aimed to express solidarity with Gaza and respond to the ongoing blockade and genocide since October 7, 2023, as well as a retaliation to the aggression on the country by the United States and UK.
