Hadramout Tribal Alliance militants seize tankers loaded with precious stones

HADRAMOUT, Oct. 09 (YPA) – Hadramout Tribal Alliance militants seized tankers loaded with precious stones on their way to the port of Mukalla to be transported outside Yemen.

Journalist Sabri Salmeen Bin Makhashin confirmed that an armed alliance checkpoint seized trucks loaded with natural resources of gold extracts and other stones and rare black sands containing “uranium”, west of Mukalla, indicating that Hadramout’s wealth has been systematically looted for years in a random manner.

He explained that the process of looting Hadramout’s natural resources is being looted by contractors and specialists from outside Hadramout, pointing out that contractors get crumbs while billions of dollars which consider the rights of the poor people of Hadramaut are being robbed.

The tribal alliance had prevented any wealth from leaving Hadramaut, whatever its value or importance, until their legitimate demands are met.
