DAMASCUS, Oct. 03 (YPA) – Syria’s air defenses intercepted on Thursday hostile targets off the coast of Jableh city in Latakia countryside, northwest Syria.
Local security official said that the air defenses dealt for more than half an hour with hostile targets, likely drones, that tried to target some sites on the outskirts of the Syrian city of Jableh.
The official added firefighting and civil defense teams rushed to the site of the missile strike, where firefighting teams could extinguish the fire that broke out in a warehouse on the the area.
Earlier, Syria called on the United Nations to “intervene effectively to put an end to the Israeli attacks on it, Palestine and Lebanon, and to hold Israel accountable for its crimes.”
