Grand Mufti of Oman mourns death of Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah

WORLD, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The Grand Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmad bin Hamad al-Khalili, mourned the martyrdom of  Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Hezbollah in the Israeli strike on Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh, on Friday.

In a statement published on his page on the platform (X), Sheikh al-Khalili said: ” We are profoundly saddened by the news of the martyrdom of the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, who has been a significant obstacle to the Zionist agenda for more than thirty years; truly, to God we belong and to Him we will return.”

He continued: “As we pray for God’s support for the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine, we urge Muslims to come together on shared principles and overcome their divisions. Their unity brings immense strength and honor, while division leads to weakness and disillusionment.”
