Palestinian resistance factions mourn Hezbollah military commander Hajj Ibrahim Aqil

GAZA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Palestinian resistance factions mourned the military leader of Hezbollah, Ibrahim Aqil, who was martyred on Friday, along with several other fighters, in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs.

In a statement, Hamas offered its condolences to Hezbollah and the Lebanese people, emphasizing that the martyrdom of leader Aqil during the “heroic support battle” waged by the Islamic resistance in Lebanon, in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, reaffirms the unity of destiny and path.

The movement praised the great sacrifices made by the Islamic resistance fighters in Lebanon and their determination to support the Palestinian people in the face of brutal extermination by the new Nazi-like Zionist criminals.

For its part, The Palestinian Islamic Jihad mourned martyr Aqil and other martyrs. The group stated that Ibrahim Aqil was a symbol of heroism and courage, known as a valiant leader who lived in the arenas of dignity and honor, and a courageous fighter for Palestine.

Additionally, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement mourned leader Aqil and the other martyrs.

The group highly valued the sacrifices made by Hezbollah fighters, praising their steadfast stance in support of the Palestinian people.

It affirmed that the policy of assassinations would not weaken the resolve of the fighters nor restore the enemy’s prestige, adding that the crimes committed by the occupation reflect the failure and impotence it suffers in the face of the resilience and struggle of our resistance and the valiant support fronts.
