International airlines cancel their flights to “Israel”
OCCUPIED QUDS, Sept. 18 (YPA) – Several international airlines have canceled their flights to “Israel” during the last hours for fear of escalation between Lebanon and the Israeli occupation entity after the Israeli terrorist operation in Lebanon yesterday, Tuesday.
The Hebrew Broadcasting Authority reported that Air France suspended all flights to and from Israel for 48 hours, while German airline Lufthansa, Swiss Airlines, and Brussels Airlines also suspended their flights.
British Airways is currently studying the matter and has not made a decision yet. Irish company Ryan Air has also decided to cancel its flights to and from Israel until at least March of next year.
Other airlines that have announced a complete cancellation of their flights to and from the Israeli entity until the end of next October include Air India, Air Canada, American Airlines, Spanish Airlines, Finnish national carrier Finair, Dutch national carrier KLM, and Korean Air.
British EasyJet, Chinese Cathay Pacific, and American Delta have also announced their complete cancellations until March 2025.
Israeli airline “El Al” has become the only operating flight between the Israeli entity and the United States.
