Sanaa denounces America’s continued interference in Yemen’s affairs

SANAA, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates denounced the blatant and irresponsible interference of the American regime in Yemen’s internal affairs.

The ministry said in a statement that the statements and interviews of the American envoy, Linder King, in which he showed hostility that exceeded the limits of diplomatic norms, which confirmed his deviation from the nature of his declared mission as a neutral mediator.

“The American envoy’s transgression has reached the point of exploiting his specific mission within the scope of his president’s declared assignment to support the peace process and stop the war into a pressure force to pass the interests and policies of his country that aim at serving Israeli occupation and stopping Yemen’s support for Gaza through the equation of stopping the war and lifting the siege in exchange for stopping operations against the Zionist entity-funded ships.”

The statement added, “The American envoy went so far as to announce his country’s position that peace will not be achieved in Yemen, and salaries will not be paid unless the siege against the criminal entity is lifted,” explaining the Sanaa government did not deal with this envoy and did not allow him to visit Sanaa.”

The ministry’s statement continued, “This hostile role towards Yemen is being carried out by the American embassy from Riyadh through supporting the government formed and appointed from abroad to create an alignment between its military tools of various affiliations and orientations with the aim of paving the way for an internal fight that the regional and international powers would finance to distance themselves from legal and human rights accountability.”
