Report: 4 civilians killed in 24+ Saudi-led airstrikes, ground attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – Four civilians were killed and eight injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched over 24 airstrikes and ground shells on several areas of Yemen’s province, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.
• In Saada province:
A civilian was killed by Saudi artillery shells targeted Bani-Thahl area of Dhaher district.
Artillery and missile shelling targeted Bagem, Shada and Razih border districts, causing heavy damage to residents’ properties.
Meanwhile, five air strikes hit Safraa district.
Four airstrikes were waged on Bagem district.
• In Hajjah province:
A civilian was killed and three injured when a rocket shell bombed in Farsh village of Haradh district.
• In Hodeidah province:
Two civilians were killed and five injured in several airstrikes on a farm in Kilo-16 area of Hali district.
Two airstrikes hit Kamaran island.
An airstrike was waged on Ain area of Bajel district.
• In Amran province:
Seven airstrikes were killed Dhaiban district.
• In Marib province:
Three Saudi-led airstrikes were launched on Serwah district.
