GAZA, Sept. 11 (YPA) – About two Israeli occupation soldiers were killed on Wednesday and seven others wounded in a military plane crash in Rafah city, south of the Gaza Strip.
Hebrew newspaper “Israel Today” said that the Israeli Air Force UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter crashed when it was trying to land to rescue an injured soldier in Rafah, noting that the investigation being ongoing to determine the cause.
The helicopter was as part of a mission to evacuate an injured soldiers for medical treatment in a hospital.
Following the incident, the commander of the occupation air force appointed a military investigation committee to examine the circumstances of the incident.
