Israeli aggression targets Baalbek, several towns in Lebanon

BEIRUT, Aug. 21 (YPA) Israeli occupation aircraft launched a series of intense airstrikes on several towns in Bekaa Valley and several areas of southern Lebanon, media sources reported on Wednesday morning.

Lebanese sources and activists reported that this marks the second consecutive night of Israeli airstrikes on Baalbek, the first such attacks since the conflict began.

The National News Agency reported that starting at 11 p.m., Israeli warplanes carried out aerial assaults, including three consecutive strikes targeting the town of Ayta ash-Shab n the Bint Jbeil district.

According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, at least four people were killed and others injured late Tuesday from Israeli airstrikes targeting the town of Al-Dhahirah in southern Lebanon.
