Continuation of heavy rains is expected to fall on several areas of Yemen

SANAA, Aug. (YPA) – The continuation of heavy rains may fall over several areas of Yemen, the National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning is expected on Saturday.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that thunderstorms of varying intensity in the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Bayda, Abyan, Aden, Lahj, Jawf and Marib, in addition to Hajjah, Hodeida, Taiz, Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz and Dhalea.

It pointed out that the desert areas being characterized by partly cloudy to cloudy weather, with scattered showers and moderate to active winds.

The center warned of warned of rock collapses on roads and mountain slopes, and the collapse of mud and popular buildings due to the continued rainfall.
