New government declared in Sanaa after being formed

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – President the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mahdi Al-Mashat, met on Monday with the chief of the Government of Change and Construction, Ahmed Al-Rahwi.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister presented to President Al-Mashat the new government formation, which included competencies from various areas and provinces of the Republic of Yemen, thus constituting a true national partnership of competence and integrity.

Al-Rahwi stressed that the government’s task, which was formed in these difficult circumstances that the country is going through, is primarily to arrange the internal situation and confront the aggression economically, militarily and politically and achieve the desired construction and change.

He reiterated that this government would do everything in its power to meet the aspirations of steadfast, struggling Yemeni people and find solutions to the problems resulting from the brutal US-backed Saudi aggression coalition.

After President Al-Mashat reviewed the list of the formation, he issued a presidential decree as follows:

1. Ahmed Ghaleb Nasser Al-Rahwi as Prime Minister.

2. Mohamed Ahmed Ahmed Miftah as First Deputy Prime Minister.

3. Jalal Ali Ali Al-Rowaishan, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence and Security Affairs.

4. Mohammed Hassan Ismail Al-Madani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration and Rural Development.

5. Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, Minister of Defense.

6. Abdul-Karim Amir Al-Din Al-Houthi, Minister of Interior.

7. Mujahid Ahmed Abdullah Ali, Minister of Justice and Human Rights.

8. Khaled Hussein Saleh Al-Hawali, Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development.

9. Mohammed Ayyash Mohammed Qahim, Minister of Transport and Public Works.

10. Abdul-Jabbar Ahmed Mohammed Mohammed, Minister of Finance.

11. Moein Hashim Ahmed Mahagri, Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment.

12. Radwan Ali Ali Al-Rubai, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.
