Sanaa condemns terrorist attack on Mogadishu beach

SANAA, Aug. 04 (YPA) – The Foreign Ministry in Sanaa, has condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a civilian beach in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, resulting in 32 deaths and dozens of injuries.

In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attack on civilian gathering places as being contrary to all religious teachings, morals, norms, and human values.

The Ministry expressed condolences from the Yemeni government and people to the Somali government, people, and the families of the victims, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.

It emphasized that terrorism, in all its forms and manifestations, is unacceptable and represents one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.

The statement highlighted that “terrorism and extremism disregard both space and time; their goal is to destroy societies and negatively impact their social fabric.”
