BEIRUT, July 28 (YPA) – Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib warned that any major attack on Lebanon by “Israel” would lead to a regional war.
This came after 12 people were killed when a missile fell in Majdal Shams, which Israel accused Hezbollah of launching.
“Reuters” agency quoted Bou Habib as saying, “We asked Washington to urge Israel to exercise restraint in light of the recent tension, while the United States asked the Lebanese government to restrain Hezbollah.”
Earlier, Iran warned the occupying state of the consequences of attacking Lebanon after Netanyahu held Hezbollah responsible for bombing the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Golan, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens.
