CAIRO, July 23 (YPA) – Egypt welcomed on Tuesday the agreement reached between the Sanaa government and the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition regarding measures to reduce economic and banking escalation and expand direct flights from Sanaa to include Cairo and India.
This came in a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
According to the statement, Egypt expressed its aspiration that this agreement would be an introduction to the path to reaching a comprehensive settlement of the Yemeni crisis.
Egypt also confirmed that it would continue studying opportunities to operate a direct airline between Cairo and Sanaa, in accordance with relevant considerations and procedures, including technical and logistical ones.
