MICHIGAN, July 22 (YPA) – A Yemeni-American police officer was killed at the city of Dearborn, Michigan, in the United States of America.
Media outlets reported, quoting the American police, that the officer Mohammad Saeed Al- Al-Bajli was killed by a gunman named “Michael Lopez, who holds a Spanish nationality, noting that the perpetrator on Green bike was wearing black shirt, had many tattoos and a beard.
The incident occurred when Officer Al-Bajli was chasing the gunman, Lopez, who shot the officer and killed him instantly before fleeing the scene.
Al-Bajli is belonging to the Al-Rubaytain village of Juban district in Dhalea province, southern Yemen.
In recent years, the number of victims of Yemeni expatriates in the United States has increased, as incidents of murder and armed robbery of their stores are repeated in various American cities.
