Over 35,000 families fled Hodeidah: UN

SANAA, July 16 (YPA) – Over 35,000 families have been displaced so far from Yemen’s coastal city of Hodeidah due to missile and air attacks carried out by the coalition warplanes and their militiamen, the UN Office (OCHA) said in a statement on its Twitter account on Monday.

It said that intense artillery shelling and airstrikes hit Al Tuhayata and Zabid districts in the province, triggering the displacement and disrupting access to basic services.

Last month, the coalition began an all-out offensive on the Yemeni port city in an attempt to occupy it.
