YPC: Oil supply situation is completely stable in Hodeida, other provinces

SANAA, July 20 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) in Sanaa confirmed on Saturday that the oil supply situation is completely stable, whether in Hodeida province or the rest of the provinces under the control of the Supreme Political Council.

In an urgent statement on Saturday evening, the company reassured citizens, saying, “There is no justification for putting pressure on gas stations and that the company has previously taken measures and precautions for any emergency.”

It called on citizens to cooperate in the event that any station violates the applicable laws, such as closing the station to create a crisis, raising the official cost, or refraining from filling fuel for citizens, by contacting the company’s toll-free number: 8001700.

In turn, the Ministry of Oil and Minerals in the Sanaa government condemned the barbaric raids launched by the Israeli aggression on the city of Hodeida and the targeting of oil tanks in the port.

In a statement issued this evening, the ministry considered this a clear violation of international humanitarian law and its rules that stipulate the preservation of civilian lives and the maintenance of civilian property.

The statement held the international community, particularly the United Nations, the Security Council, and international organizations, fully responsible for the Israeli aggression against the Yemeni people.

The Minister of Oil and Minerals in the caretaker government, Ahmed Daris, reassured citizens that there are large and sufficient quantities of oil reserves, calling for people not to panic at gasoline stations and create a crisis that has no justification.
