Report: Yemen army wages attacks on Saudi troops over 24 hours

SANAA, July 16 (YPA) – The Yemen army has launched military operations, including missile, artillery and sniping attacks, to repel infiltration attempts of Saudi troops during the past 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

In Yemen’s western coast:
The army repelled an infiltration of Saudi-backed militiamen in Odain junction of Hais.

The infiltration was accompanied by artillery shelling on their gathering, destroying five military vehicle, sniping 5 of militiamen and causing heavy losses in lives and equipment.

Artillery shelling targeted gatherings of militiamen in the west of Tuhaita, causing direct casualties.

An infiltration was foiled in Faza, killing and wounding dozens.

Two leaders of coalition-backed militiamen were killed by the fire of the army.

In the border province of Jizan:
Two infiltration attempts of militiamen, support with air cover, were repelled in front of MBC and the west of Dood, killing and wounding dozens, including Saudi soldier.

Dozens of Sudanese militiamen were killed and wounded when the army bombed two military vehicles by explosive devices in Tewal border crossing.

  A military vehicle was destroyed near Nar mount by an explosive device, killing all its crew.

3 Saudi soldiers and four militiamen were killed in an ambush carried out in Qambora military site.

Gatherings of Saudi soldiers and their militiamen were targeted by artillery in the south of Ma’een valley, causing direct casualties.

In Najran border province:
The army carried out an offensive on a Saudi site in Shurfa, killing Saudi soldiers and seizing weapons.

Dozens of militiamen were killed and wounded during repelling their infiltration in Ajasher desert.

In the border province of Asir:
Gatherings of Saudi soldiers were shelled by artillery in Rabuaa.

Katyusha rockets and artillery shells targeted gatherings of militiamen in Majaza and in front of Alb border crossing.

In Jawf province:
Dozens of militiamen were killed, including leaders, when the army targeted them by katyusha rockets in Mojama-Hazm.

In Hajjah province:
Three military vehicles of militiamen were destroyed by explosive devices in Medi desert, killing and wounding all who were on board.

The army bombed a Saudi-backed militiamen’s military vehicle in Tewal crossing, killing and wounding all its crew.
