Former Pentagon advisor warns of civil war in US

WORLD, July 04 (YPA) – Former Pentagon advisor Douglas Macgregor warned that the United States is heading towards a civil war, whether its borders with Mexico are open or closed.

In an interview with the Deep Dive channel on YouTube, Macgregor stated, “The United States is going to have its own civil war, whether it has an open border with Mexico or even if that border is closed.”

The former Pentagon advisor blamed US Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

He adding, “Right now, everyone is ignoring the situation on the border (between the United States and Mexico). Mayorkas has opened it.”

He further cautioned, “They are not the only ones, but there are also many fighters from ISIS,” implying concerns about potential infiltration.

Macgregor argued that even if the border were closed, it “will not save the United States from war.”

He said, “Instead of Islamists, Washington will have to fight Mexican drug cartels, which will not forgive the United States for interfering with their trade flows.”

Macgregor expressed fears saying that  “millions of immigrants from various countries who already live in the United States will become allies of the drug mafia. Because Donald Trump talks about a third world war, we will get it here, inside our country… So, this war has a better chance of starting here than anywhere else.”
