Saudi Arabia urges its citizens to leave Lebanon immediately

BEIRUT, June 30 (YPA) – The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Lebanon said on Saturday it was closely following the developments of the current events in southern Lebanon, Saudi Press Agency reported.

The embassy stated in a statement published on the ‘X’ platform, urging all Saudi citizens to avoid travel to Lebanon and who are currently there to leave Lebanese territory immediately.

The embassy emphasized in its statement the necessity for citizens to stay in contact with them in case of any emergencies.

Recently, several European and regional countries have announced their intention to evacuate their nationals from Lebanon due to the situation which threatens to escalate the ongoing confrontations between Israel and Hezbollah.
