Emirati officer killed in Sudan

KHARTOUM, June 29 (YPA) – An officer of the UAE was killed while participating in the war in Sudan alongside the Rapid Support Forces, media websites reported on Saturday.

The leader of the civil administration in Sudan, Musleh Nassar, announced the killing of the Emirati officer, “Ahmed bin Tamrouk Al-Dhahouri,” during his participation in the war in the country, while his family announced his death in a traffic accident.

Many of those who mourned Al-Dhahouri did not mention the causes of his death, and they praised his “stances in defense of his homeland.”

This news comes in the midst of disagreements between Abu Dhabi and the Sudanese army, which accuses it of fueling the conflict in Sudan by supporting the ‘Rapid Support Forces’.
