Egyptians killed by Saudi army on Yemen border

CAIRO, June 13 (YPA) – Two young Egyptians were killed and another person was injured during an attempt to infiltrate and cross the Yemeni border illegally.

Egyptian media outlets reported, quoting a source close to one of the victims, that the accident happened while they were trying to cross the Yemeni border illegally, and the Saudi border guard forces dealt with them immediately with gunfire.

The sources said that the first was buried by soldiers on the border, while the second’s body is currently in a government hospital awaiting the completion of burial procedures.

The Egyptian authorities have not yet mentioned any details about the incident.
