WASHINGTON, June 13 (YPA) – US House of Representatives voted on Wednesday against a resolution preventing the allocation of any funds to contribute to the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to destructive Zionist aggression for about 9 months.
American media outlets quoted Republican Representative Brian Mast said that the United States should not contribute to building anything inside the Gaza Strip after the end of the war.
“Let me say in two simple and clear ways, Mast added. “The Americans should not finance the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, when the war, of which we have no indication of when it will end.”
He continued, saying: “We should not pay money to build a port, a terrorist tunnel or a building that can be used to house those detained by various terrorist organizations.”
