Hamdan: Hamas cannot agree to a proposal that does not guarantee a permanent ceasefire and complete withdrawal of Israeli forces

BEIEUT, June 05 (YPA) – Osama Hamdan, a member of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,”, confirmed on Tuesday, that the Israeli response to the offer received by the resistance in May does not guarantee a permanent ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, and a hostage-for-prisoner exchange

During a Hamas press conference on the developments of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, Hamdan stated, “We have conveyed our position to the mediators, stating that we cannot agree to an agreement that does not guarantee a permanent ceasefire and a full withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.”

He emphasized that “the occupation will not see its captives held by the resistance unless there is a serious and genuine deal in which our Palestinian prisoners enjoy freedom.”
