Ireland officially recognizes State of Palestine

DUBLIN, May 28 (YPA) – The Irish government announced its official recognition of the Palestinian state on Tuesday and the establishment of full diplomatic relations between Dublin and Ramallah.

Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris said that his country “will appoint an ambassador to the State of Palestine.”

Harris urged “Israel” to stop the humanitarian catastrophe it is committing in the Gaza Strip, calling on the European Union to review the association agreement with “Israel” for humanitarian reasons.
