Hamas: Netanyahu’s statements are ridiculous and merely for internal consumption

GAZA, May 14 (YPA) – Hamas Political Bureau member Izzat Al-Rishq, said that statements by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding sending Hamas leaders into exile after they lay down their arms are ridiculous and merely for internal consumption.

“Today’s ridiculous statements by the criminal Netanyahu, claiming that, “the war can be stopped through the surrender of the [Hamas] movement, laying down its arms, and handing us the hostages,” are merely for internal consumption and reflect the reality of the situation of crisis he has reached after 220 days of his aggression and the genocide he is committing against our people in Gaza Strip,”  said Izzat Al-Rishq in a statement .

He added, “The enemy has not achieved any of his aggressive goals, other than committing more horrific massacres against unarmed civilians.”

“His statements also highlight the fear of the rising global support for our people’s cause and the legitimacy of their rights, and once again expose his historical defeat in the face of our people’s steadfastness and the valor of our resistance, which daily writes epics of heroism on the land of Gaza, on all combat axes.”

Al-Rishq concluded his statement by saying: “Netanyahu is selling illusions with his talk about “discussions on guaranteeing the evacuation of the movement’s leaders out of the Gaza Strip and their exile,” reaffirming that he still lives in his delusions and dreams of achieving an alleged victory that will never materialize, or in diminishing the symbols of our people and our resistance in Gaza Strip, who know neither defeat nor surrender.”
