UKMTO reported incident east of Yemen’s Aden

WORLD, May 10 (YPA) – The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) organization said that it received a report on Friday of an incident 195 nautical miles east of Yemen’s Aden.

 According to the source, the vessel was attacked by unknown assailants.

The vessel’s master reported being approached by a small craft carrying five or six-armed people with ladders.

Furthermore, it added that the authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident and advised ships to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity.
