Multi mission aircraft crashed in Shabwa

SHABWA, April 30 (YPA) – A multi mission aircraft crashed on Monday, in Shabwa province in south Yemen, local sources reported.

“The multi-mission reconnaissance aircraft was flying at a low altitude when it crashed in the mountainous area east of the “Ar Rawdah” district, amid intense secrecy from the foreign forces present at Al-Alam military base,’ the local  sources said.

They added that the aircraft was coming from the south of “Ar Rawdha” and fell in an uninhabited area, suggesting that it took off from the Balhaf area in the coastal directorate of Radhum, which has been used as a military base by Emirati and American forces since 2015.

The sources confirmed that the aircraft fly daily in the directorate’s airspace, expecting that the aircraft deviated from its training course conducted by foreign forces in Balhaf following the deployment of new forces to the area.

The aircraft burned completely during its fall, causing a large fire, leaving only intact parts of the aircraft’s wing, which is over 9 meters long, according to the sources.
