BEIRUT, April 30 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon – Hezbollah continued on Monday to strikes Zionist soldiers and their sites in the occupied north of Palestine.
In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in support of their brave and honorable resistance, and in response to the enemy’s attacks on the steadfast villages and civilian homes, most recently in the towns of Khiam and Shebaa, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance, in the afternoon of Monday, targeted buildings housing “Israeli” soldiers in the “Metulla” settlement, hitting them directly,” Hezbollah said in a statement.
Hezbollah’s statement comes after the Zionist newspaper “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported that the Regional Council in Upper Galilee said: Anti-tank missiles were launched from southern Lebanon and hit the settlement of Metulla.
Earlier in the day, the Lebanese news agency reported that Zionist warplanes carried out two raids on the “Al-Maslakh” area in the town of Khiam, in conjunctions with Zionist artillery shelling on the southern outskirts of the same town.
Eyewitnesses reported the targeting of a house in the border town of Shebaa in the Hasbaya district, southern Lebanon, by an Israeli artillery shell.
Since October 8, in solidarity with the Gaza Strip, which is subjected to a destructive Zionist war with US support, Hezbollah and Palestinian factions have been exchanging daily shelling with the Zionist enemy army, resulting in casualties and injuries on both sides, most of them in Lebanon.
