Meteorology warns of sea wave targeting Socotra, Aden Gulf

SANAA, April 29 (YPA) – A sea wave is likely around the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern Gulf of Aden, the southern Red Sea, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, according to the National Center of Meteorology.

The center expected in its weather forecast on Monday the moderate to heavy rain on the Socotra Archipelago, the eastern Gulf of Aden, and the coasts of Mahra and Hadramout province.

It affirmed that scattered rain would be expected in parts of the province of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Jawf, Mahweet, Sanaa, Dhamar, Rayma, Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Bayda, Lahj, Marib and Jawf.

The center warned of rock and mud slides, low horizontal visibility due to rain, low clouds or fog.
