Zionist War Council discusses time of Rafah invasion

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 25 (YPA) – The Zionist War Council will immediately discuss the time of entering Rafah in southern Gaza, News i24 reported on Wednesday.

The website mentioned in its report that  “continuing reports about the completion of preparations for the military operation in Rafah, a senior official stated that there are preparations to start the evacuation in the coming weeks.”

This came in response to a question about the political level’s decision regarding the start date of the operation, where it was mentioned that a meeting of the War Council will be held on Thursday and it is expected to also discuss this matter.

Earlier on Wednesday, the enemy’s media outlets circulated data indicating that the training of the “Carmel” Brigade (2) and the “Batah” Brigade (679), usually assigned to the northern area, has increased in the southern sector.

They indicated that these units have doubled their readiness after a series of exercises as part of preparations for the operation in Gaza.

According to official sources, the Zionist enemy will allow the entry of two international delegations into the Gaza Strip, one from the UN Security Department and another composed of the head of the aid department in the Red Cross.

They will enter Gaza simultaneously with the announcement of the Zionist army’s mobilization of two reserve battalions to fight in Gaza, and before expanding the humanitarian area in the southern Gaza, in preparation for a possible ground operation in Rafah, according to what was published by the Zionist website.

The “Axios” website stated that senior officials from the Zionist intelligence and army met on Wednesday in Cairo with the head of Egyptian intelligence and other key officials to discuss the possibility of carrying out a military operation in Rafah.
