OCCUPIED PALESTINE, April 22 (YPA) – At least six Palestinians were injured on Monday as a result of an attack by Israeli forces and settlers on the town of Burqa, east of Ramallah in the West Bank, the Ministry of Health in the Palestinian Authority stated.
According to Wafa News Agency, Israeli colonists, backed by Israeli occupation forces, attacked the village of Burqa to the east of Ramallah on Sunday night and set fire to a livestock shed.
The head of the Burqa Village Council, Sayel Kanaan, told WAFA that colonists attacked the village from the northern and western sides, and set a shed used for raising sheep ablaze.
The colonists also tried to break into a house on the northern side, in addition to other houses on the western side of the village.
According to the official, Israeli occupation forces joined in on the attack, firing sound bombs and toxic tear gas at the villagers.
