Citizen killed in Aden shooting

ADEN, April 20 (YPA) – A citizen was killed on Saturday in the center of the city of Aden in southern Yemen.

Local sources in the city said that the gunmen loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) opened fire at Khaled Al-Haythami, who was suffering from a psychological condition, in the Al-Tawahi area.

Shooting Al-Haythami came amid accusations that he was working as a spy for the head of the so-called Saudi-formed Leadership Council, headed by Rashad Al-Alimi, near the headquarters of the STC.
