Palestinian resistance factions engage in fierce battles with Israeli occupation forces in central Gaza

GAZA, April 17 (YPA) – The Palestinian resistance factions continued to engage in fierce battles with Israeli occupation forces in the central area of the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, said that they targeted a D9 military bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement in Palestine, said that their fighters engaged in fierce clashes using machine guns and anti-tank missiles with enemy soldiers and vehicles east of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip in the past hours.

Additionally, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades announced that its fighters had engaged in fierce clashes with Zionist occupation soldiers using appropriate weapons, on the axis of advancement east of Deir Al-Balah city.
