Prominent politician in Sanaa demands Al-Alimi’s return to Aden

SANAA, April 13 (YPA) – A prominent politician in Sanaa government has demanded the return of the head of the “Presidential Leadership Council” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, Rashad Al-Alimi, to the city of Aden.

The deputy foreign minister in the Sanaa government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, said in a post on “X”: “I hope he left voluntarily because forced departure would mean that he is still that weak and emaciated person, and it may wrongly suggest that the southern transitional council is still a number, which is not true.”

Al-Ezzi added, “In any case, Al-Alimi’s quick departure puts us in front of a worried and terrified Kamirenghi, and this is not good enough.”

He continued, saying, “He (Al-Alimi) must be encouraged to return again to Aden as soon as possible.”
